Sumptuous Outdoor BBQ Appetizers

Hosting a bbq party will probably never be complete without your trusty outdoor grill. I have always wanted to prepare sumptuous meals for my family and friends, but my lack of grilling skills have made me a bit cynical about what to prepare.

After making sure that I was able to decorate my patio and send out the invitations, I started to stress over what meals to serve at the party. I really couldn’t find anything that will suit my tastes — I almost wanted to cancel! Thankfully, the holidays have prompted me to unearth a lot of my grandmother’s old recipes. I never really realized how difficult it is to find grilled appetizers to feed my guests. It was a really good thing that I was able to find some of her old handwritten recipes. Who would have thought that grilled food was already a hit even in her time? Save yourself the stress of finding sumptuous bbq appetizers for your next outdoor party. Here are some great meals that will really impress your loved ones!

Jalapeno Peppers: Using jalapeno peppers have been around for ages, but have you ever tried wrapping them in bacon? Just cut up these jalapenos in half and purchase a package of cream cheese and bacon. Preheat your outdoor grill and fill the pepper halves with cream cheese. Wrap the peppers in bacon and cook until the bacon is a crispy golden brown.

Cheese: Try finding those hard cheeses that you will see in your local grocery store (swiss or cheddar are always good options). Place the cheese on a baking dish and season it with garlic or onion. If you want a little spicy flavor to it, you can add chili as well. Preheat your grill and leave the cheese dish until it gives you a melted substance. Cut up small baguettes or nachos and this will be a perfect dip for your chips!
