Everyone knows that summer is just around the corner. What are you planning on doing to prepare yourself for the outdoor barbecue grilling season? Are you purchasing a new outdoor barbecue grill, or how about getting a few new recipes to really kick it up a notch! There are several ways you can be extremely cunning when you are having your next outdoor barbecue grilling championship.

Ribs are one of the most obvious of choices for barbecue grilling. They take great effort and time to prepare. However, when ribs are cared for and cooked properly, they are extremely delicious. When you cook ribs, always dry rub them the night before. This allows your seasoning to soak well into the meat. The next day, if you have a smoker on your outdoor barbecue grill, cook them in here low and slow as this is absolutely the best way go cook your ribs. If not, start the ribs in your home oven on low heat because this allows the meat to be cooked at a distance, unlike a grill where the flame could char the ribs much too early on. Once you have initially cooked the ribs, you can then use your grill to show off your great job and finish your ribs off with a delicious sauce. Sticky fingers has an entire line of sauces that are perfect for ribs, however, some people prefer to use homemade blends.

Kabobs are another wonderful idea for the grilling enthusiast. There are a wide variety of kabobs that you can make on you grill. Hawaiian kabobs are a great recipe to try if you are looking for something new. It involves marinating chicken in lemon and lime, and then skewering it. Just before you skewer the chicken, wrap it in a piece of bacon and you will have an extremely delicious piece of chicken that is rich in protein. Add on some pineapple chunks, onion, and peppers to make a great tasting Hawaiian kabob.

When you are deciding what to cook on your grill, you have to think about several factors. Space, time to cook and heat all come to mind. Sometimes, people who grill may become so motivated that they do not plan out their grilling. This can leave them high and dry to try to find more room on their grills.

Marinating can be a problem when grilling. Marinating requires you to plan ahead, make sure your food is well marinated and timing it so that your food hits the grill when you need it to. There are many marinades on the market today that offer the ability of putting the food and marinade in a bag, moving it around and letting it soak for thirty minutes. While these marinades are meant to be extremely easy, they do not always produce the desired taste effect. Make sure that you add some additional flavor to your food to enhance its taste if using a store bought marinade!

Outdoor Barbecue Grilling is an experience that many people relish each summer. With the vast variety of food that can be prepared, the social events and the wonderful taste it leaves in your mouth, nothing can be better than barbecue grilling! Be sure to share the gift of grilling this season by buying your favorite grad unique college graduation gifts such as Weber grills, grill accessories, and more! photo credit: goose3five
